Membership Information
The Upstate Food Co-op is a members-only health
food co-operative, which requires membership in good standing by
annual renewal of dues each year. Currently dues are
$24.00 per year due in January. One-month non-renewable trial
memberships are $3.00. Memberships are based per household. Dues for
new members are pro-rated based on the month of joining. Levels of
memberships:

Businesses - The Co-op has two categories of
business memberships, which also pay annual membership dues. A
required sales tax form has to be on file at the Co-op: 1. When
goods between the Co-op and a business are exchanged, the
business receives a 5% markup. 2. When goods are not exchanged
between the Co-op and a business, the business receives a 10%
markup. Business memberships and category are approved by the

Note: Attendance at ALL Upstate
Food Coop meetings will be credited towards working
hours which include General Membership Meetings,
Monthly Manager Meetings, Board of Director Meetings
and any other specially called meetings.
